Thank you David for sharing your TranQool experience with us. Our users stories keep us focused and motivated, especially when we hear we are making a true difference in people's lives.
I initially heard about TranQool through the DMZ at Ryerson, but I was apprehensive about it when I started. Previously I’d spent a lot of time researching and evaluating my therapists, so it was nice to discover that everyone in TranQool was pre-vetted. I’ve also been surprised by how well the technology works. Overall, I’ve had a good experience with TranQool. I feel like it’s helped me get past many of the logistical problems I’ve had with therapy in the past, and helped me focus on the actual issues I’m dealing with and working through. I initially sought out TranQool with the goal of getting a better handle on the stress and anxiety that comes with being an entrepreneur. In addition to my therapist – who’s fantastic – I really appreciate that I can have my appointments from a meeting room at my office, without having to travel anywhere. Aside from not having to commute anywhere, the biggest thing I prefer about TranQool to in-person therapy is that I can do it from a space where I feel comfortable, without the disconcerting sterility that comes with a therapist’s office.

I would (and have) recommended TranQool to people I know. I think the difference between "not talking to someone" and "talking to someone even if they aren’t perfect" is much larger than the difference of "talking to someone" and "talking to the perfect someone" and TranQool makes it really, really easy to start talking with someone. I have done therapy before. The biggest difference I’ve noticed with TranQool is how much time it saves finding a therapist, and and then being able to have sessions from where ever I am, without having to travel to an office. I’ve also appreciated how much more comfortable I feel being able to have the calls from my own space instead of their office.
